11th november 2011, we proudly present you second part of Overnight series with big guest straight from Saint Petersburg , Russia - FLAME (Med School | Celsius | Icarus | Modulate) Flame started electronic music production in early 2000. Very soon Flame was at the forefront of the successful russian project Skyform. After having several releases on the local CD labels he joined up with fellow countryman and producer Lex to form techno-dnb project Tenebra. Since 2002 Flame has been DJ'ing in clubs around Eastern Europe. He gained experience playing alongside many big dnb names. This was also when Flame began taking his production in a neurofunk/tech direction which influences you can still hear today. To date he has a lengthy back catalogue of material spanning many respected labels including vinyl releases on Sudden Def & Leet with Tenebra and solo productions on the likes of Med School, Celsius, Camino Blue, Icarus Audio, Cyclone, BlackSeeds, Respect, Modulate, Sinuous, Fallout, Ammunition to name a few. Also its important to mention that Flame took his production in a deep/minimal and soulful/liquid dnb lately. His tunes gained lots of positive feedbacks and as a result most of that stuff has been released on the different imprints. 2010 marked the start of Flame`s own digital label called Mechabyte, of the same name as his long-lived podcast series that gained a lot of listeners around Russia and Eastern Europe during last 5 years.
