3.septembrī Rīgas alternatīvās mūzikas klubā "Nabaklab" notiks Nīderlandes elektroniskās deju mūzikas leibla "Team Records" ballīte. TR īpašnieki ir Holandes tehno grandi – grupa "Secret Cinema", kas ir vieni no žanra pionieriem Eiropā. Uz leibla ierakstās arī Vince Watson (UK), Philogresz (NL), Estroe (NL) un daudzi citi, kā arī Rīgas tehno dīdžejs, producents un "TehnoKarnevāls" ballīšu organizators NGC-5128. Šī būs jau piektā leibla klubu nakts, pirms tam pasākumi notikuši tādās pasaules pilsētās kā Sidneja, Amsterdama, Sīgena, Ūtrehte un Groningena. Rīgā leiblu pārstāvēs Philogresz (Ware, 3rd Wave, TEAM) ar īpašu 3 stundīgu DJ setu un NGC-5128 (TEAM, NGC-5128 REC). Viņiem ar savu Dj setu pievienosies Ivars Mednis (Minipower). Ballītes muzikālo noformējumu varētu raksturot ar vārdiem „deep freestyle techno with lot's of free spirit and no boundaries, organic and musical techno...”

Philogresz aka ilker Soylu was born in that huge metropolis of Turkey ‘Istanbul’, begin 80’s! In the summer of 2002 he moved to The Netherlands and started his education of music production at Art Academy of Utrecht (HKU) and later stage SAE(school of sound engineering). Soon after he has set up his own company 078
Productions and has been working as a promoter for more than 5 years which had to end depending on his passion for music productions, performance and recordings.
Philogresz sound is moody, melodic, jazzy and organically composed; yet it is arrogantly arranged techno with absolutely no boundaries. Confident enough to experiment on stage with complex beats and percussive lines, he achieves his intention of moving people with his subtle style. He has so far put out our records on labels (selected): WARE, 3rd Wave, Perplex, Manual, Gastspiel, Progcity Deep Trax, Stolen Moments, Magnitude, Sound Architecture and his own imprint TEAM records.
Currently he is responsible for label and A&R management of TEAM records started
by Dutch techno producer Secret Cinema/Grooveyard. As an artist of TEAM records,
he has released ‘ Debut on Blackwarm EP ‘ incl. remixes of Secret Cinema and
Qbical, which had numerous overwhelming reviews on International Media, including
DJBroadcast, Ibiza Voice, Beatfreax and The Clubbing..
Also his 2nd EP on TEAM ' The Dark Side ' made an outstanding impact on the
sophisticated techno scene...

NGC-5128 is not just a galaxy in the constellation Centaurus A, but also an alias of Kristaps Lagzdins – an experienced electronic music producer, DJ and urban dreamer from Latvia. He has been known as a persistent and adventurous explorer of the techno soul for years. NGC-5128’s music is futuristic, synthetic, yet melodic, owing much to Detroit’s techno and tech-funk of the 90’s. He is inspired by things and ideas from different domains, where reality and fiction co-exist — from actual abandoned factories to intergalactic space fantasies, from scientific theories to urban poetry. NGC-5128 is deeply involved in Latvian electronic music community, he regularly performs at different clubs and events and actively promotes various electronic music events, like Techno Carnival. His tracks are included on some Latvian e-music compilations, and besides producing his own music he has done a handful of remixes. Apart from the local scene, NGC-5128 has performed in Finland, Russia, Lithuania and UK his track “Xenoid Base” was aired in the legendary John Peel’s show on BBC Radio 1. Track “The Gardens Of Mechanical Dreamscapes” was played by british techno guru Mark EG during his kicking Blackout Audio radio show on Megapolis FM (Moscow) . Soon “Cyan Colony EP” was released by Romanian netlabel Exposed (www.exposedaudio.org) and in 2007, after success in the remix contest of Secret Cinema’s track “Water Gruv”, his remix got release on Holland’s Team Records digital sublabel TeamTomorrow (www.teamrecords.net) . On year 2007 Kristaps moved to London for audio engineering studies and actively worked on remixes and new material at his home studio located in various squatted houses around metropolis. In the begining of 2010 NGC started his own imprint „NGC-5128 RECORDS” (http://5128.808.LV), currently moved back to Riga NGC-5128 is continuing producing music, dj`ing and organising parties.

DJ Ivars Mednis (MINIPOWER / TIKTAKRADIO.COM) Ivars has started DJing in early 90-ties, playing ravey techno tracks on modified reel-to-reel tapes, as there no techno vinyl records was available in his home country Latvia. In the 96 he started to spin vinyl and has been taken away by deeper and futuristic side of Detroit techno sound. These days he is actively involved in dj/party project MINIPOWER and online radio station TIKTAKRADIO.COM as well as spinning records at various parties and clubs across Latvia and Europe, including Germany, Belarus, Belgium, Lithuania, Estonia, Luxembourg, Italy, Finland. Ivars is also involved in netcords.net netlabel, as well as more techno oriented Regroovable Records. In his DJ sets he plays ascetic & groovy vibes of techno and house combining them with deeper and hypnotic sounds.
