MIXMASTER AG seriously started to practice disco-things in 1989, mixing and scratching on the magnetic tape recorder on the school discoteques, as far as possible putting the accent to the 'Black Dance Music'. At the time, this being called all the new dance musical diversity - from the House to the New Beat,Rap, Soul, Ragga and ElectroFunk.
1991.while rapping on his mother language, making loops from the tapes (an ancient substitute version for sampler) and playing a bit on the keyboards, AG is taking part in Latvian Beat movement, which is the start of the local dance music and hip hop culture musical expressions in Latvia.
1992-1993, joining the best local djs, rappers and dance music artists, AG takes part in such tours like " Latvian DJs' 91" and "Superdejas".
1994. he becomes a resident at student club "Panna" and starts to play on vinyl.
Along with all other activities in 1997 he was a participant of the very grandest Russian electronic music festival in 90's - Vostochnij udar, and took part in project Casablanca- 2000.
1998 he becomes a resident in club "Metro".
1999 he resumes his work on production for his own musical works which becomes later as musical design of several theatrical performances and art projects.
2000 he also becomes a resident in club" Pulkvedim neviens neraksta" with his own shows. Also taking part with his house music project "Time2Jack" in festival ArtAgenda in Helsinki.
2001 comes with a serious return to hip hop music. After taking part in many events an idea was born about "lettic hiphop" which bit by bit grows up to project Hiphop LV.
Also in close contact with hiphop is another project - DJ troupe "Riga Scratch Posse".After the brilliant debut in "SunDance" Tallin festival at 2002 comes many performances in Latvia and abroad it.
In 2005 comes joining in project " Hedonia 55" , which still is one of few places in Riga where you can hear real House music in qualitative performance from dj regulary.
2006.It cames out new broadcast from Mixmasters on the Radio NABA-"SoulPower" where reference point is the Positive Vibrations rather than 'style frames and you can hear all spectrum of music - from Reggae lidz Funk, AcidJazz, Salsa, Boogaloo, Rap, Disco, Electro, House and Jungle as well.
As among the DJ-movement pioneers, and rightly regarded as one of the best djs in Baltics, mixmasters over these years have achieved their own unique playing style, which combines both the fine musical sense and a variety of disco-mixing, and 'turntablism' technique. thus demonstrates that DJ-ing can still be an exciting, original and innovative art form, capable give a pleasure and surprise people in the modern information boom and the global marketing dictate to the world.

DJ SC started his career as a dj in 1999 and was playing all around the Latvia. He specializes at techno and ambient music, also was making his own tracks until 2004. He was the resident at M-808 also know as metro. He is still one of the best techno dj's in Latvia!
